Our Team

Noble Engineering Services is a growing business. We have opportunities for experienced personnel to join us, and we have excellent depth in our team to support newcomers to industry, or in the services we deliver.

Several of our team possess Tertiary qualifications and Post Graduate qualifications. Continuing Professional Development is undertaken through related courses and training to enable us to provide best fit solutions for our clients. Some of the team are members and hold positions in Professional Bodies and organisations eg. Engineers Australia; MEMMES (Mining Electrical Mining Mechanical Engineering Society); Maintenance Council of Australia.

Noble Engineering Services employ professional engineers registered with Engineers Australia, and our consultants are site savvy, and qualified with CABA (Compressed Air Breathing Apparatus), Confined Space, Work at Heights, and other typical requirements. Our team is highly professional, experienced and certified in their area of practise.

Noble Engineering Services is owned and operated by two Newcastle families

Brad Noble

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Brad commenced as Mechanical Engineer of Noble Engineering Services in 2009 and was appointed General Manager and Co-Director in 2012. He has more than 20 years’ experience in engineering roles covering site inspections, risk assessments and design reviews in the water industry, heavy primary industry, and mining.  Whilst maintaining a key role in the Engineering Team, his role is to promote company developments and sustainability, support staff to fulfill their aspirations and serve our customers in alignment with mission and values.

Brad holds a Bachelor of Engineering Mechanical (Honours Class 1) from University of Newcastle and is a member of Engineers Australia.

Matt Blanch

DIRECTOR, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Matt was instrumental in establishing the condition monitoring capabilities within Noble Engineering Services with commencement in 2002. Matt’s industry experience prior to this gave him an excellent grounding in the appreciation of precision maintenance practises, and a broad understanding of mechanical, electrical, and process elements in the reliability of machines.

With over 30 years’ industrial experience, Matt endeavours to ensure clients receive the best assistance in the challenge of Reliability Management to improve the ‘product’ of maintenance and achieve the best outcomes from your assets.

Our Management Team

Shaun Galloway

CONDITION MONITORING MANAGER

Shaun has been with Noble Engineering Services since the very early days in the capacity of Condition Monitoring Consultant. Shaun lives by our core values and has worked consistently to improve the reliability of our customer’s equipment. Shaun is also instrumental in building the reliability of his team, and leading by example.

David Noble

ENGINEERING MANAGER

Dave is a keen Mechanical Engineer with a background in mechanical design and project engineering. Over the past 6 years he has enjoyed diversifying into the reliability field, using a range of tools to diagnose and remedy vibration problems. Dave is proud to lead a great team of engineers and mechanical trades to get an optimum result for all our customers.

Marc Pavy

NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING MANAGER

Marc commenced as NDT Technician with Noble Engineering Services in 2012 and was appointed NDT Manager in 2016. He has more than 21 years experience in business and account management roles covering marketing, and customer relations. Marc’s role with Noble Engineering Services is to promote all NDT activities, provide a high standard of service to our clients and to lead and support our NDT team.

Jacquelyn Phillips

OFFICE MANAGER

Jacquelyn commenced as Office Manager of Noble Engineering Services in 2010 and has over 20 years experience working in the engineering, resource and mining industries. Beginning her career as a receptionist she’s progressed through senior payroll positions to her current role as Office Manager. Jacqui enjoys being part of the NES team and takes a keen interest in the company’s activities and achievements.

 

Tim Thorpe

WESTERN REGION MANAGER

Tim joined Noble Engineering Services in 2009 as an experienced thermographer, and is now responsible for the day to day operations of the Western Region Area (Mudgee & Central New South Wales). Tim is passionate about delivering key outcomes for our customers through proven reliability centred maintenance solutions and innovatively blending people and process.  Tim understands how to turn information into insights and act upon them.

Graham Webb

TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Graham has been deeply involved in Newcastle and Hunter Valley industry for over 40 years, starting at the BHP steelworks site as a fitter, then promoted to a Supervisor roles in the manufacturing and maintenance sectors. For over 20 years Graham has specialised in condition monitoring and engineering services across many underground and open-cut coal mine sites in NSW and Queensland, and also included significant time supporting the coal fired power industry across both states. Graham now provides training and development for NES staff, as well as client staff in all areas of technology and services provided by the company.

Don Noble

MECHANICAL ENGINEER,

BUSINESS FOUNDER

Don served his Engineering Traineeship at John Lysaght, Mayfield and was later employed in several senior Engineering roles in mining and other industries. Don served many terms on Engineering Committees and presented Engineering Conference Papers. He has received several awards in the Engineering field and is a Fellow of Engineers Australia.

Don commenced engineering consulting to a wide variety of industries in 1996, and this work became the foundation of Noble Engineering Services Pty Ltd. Don still has an active interest in the developments and achievements of the company, proudly providing engineering excellence.
